The surgery : The operation is carried out under local anasthesia with a sedative or under general anasthesia.

compressive bandage is removed within 2 days. Stitches could be left
6-10 days. In general, the patient may be back at work from the third
week after the surgery even though a discrete swelling (oedema) will
persit. Depending on the quality of your skin, skincare and
environmental effect( sun exposure, smoking …), facelift usually lasts
7 – 10 years.
