Tunisian Dinar is divided into 1000 millimes available in notes (30,
20,10) and coins easy to use ( 5, 1 dinars / 500, 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5
millimes ).
Mastercards, American Express, Diners Club and Visa credit cards
are accepted. Import / Export of the local currency is strictly prohibited.
You may bring in any amount of foreign currency.
However it is recommended that you keep receipts thereof
for an eventual customs control upon departure.
Banks / change offices at the airport, hotels or downtown
will readily exchange your mony into tunisian dinars.
Credit cards and travel checks are accepted in most hotels, restaurants, supermarkets and shops
